Mindfulness During the Covid-19 Pandemic

With all the information, uncertainty, fake news, and panic that the Covid-19 pandemic is bringing, it is important to take care of your mind while social distancing. Many are still working from home, adapting to new ways of running their businesses and lives, all while managing a family life. For those especially with kids, pre-existing conditons and elderly relatives, this can be a difficult time.

Mindfulness occurs when the mind is presently aware of what is going on around it. It involves being fully attuned to the present moment.

Benefits include:

  • Lowering Stress, anxiety, depression
  • Developing and maintaining more positive states of mind
  • Great tool for increasing focus

If you already use mindfulness as part of your self care routine, it would be great to continue and deepen your practice at this time.
